Welcome to Turning Point

Welcome to Turning Point Inc. If you have discovered that your alcohol/drug abuse has started to control your life and you're ready to make a change, congratulations! You have just taken the first step.

Make that change in a home, not a facility.

This is a Turning Point in your life. We're glad you chose us.

We are a long term recovery home for those seeking freedom from drug and alcohol dependency based out of London, Ontario.  We offer men's and women's housing, and provide a variety of programs. These programs range from individual and group counselling to life skills training.  Graduates from Turning Point are also invited back to join our Alumni program.

We welcome you to join us and overcome your addiction.

Our Mission

We shall provide services to chemically dependent persons and those with problems complicated by the abuse of alcohol and other drugs.  The primary service shall be the operations of a recovery home for men and women who have a desire to remain clean and sober as well as develop a healthy lifestyle.

Our recovery program is based on the concepts of the twelve steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. It includes a holistic approach and the development of skills and values in areas such as social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and basic life skills necessary for coping with the stresses of life.

During a client's stay at Turning Point Inc. we aim to:

     -increase self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-awareness

-increase healthy choices in social and recreational activities

-improve client's ability to become self-sufficient through employment or

-increase client's participation in 12 step groups and alumni activities

-improve client's interaction with others through enhanced spiritual

-and improve client's practice of healthy life skills

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;  courage to change the things I can;  and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;  enjoying one moment at a time;  accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;  taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;  trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;  that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him forever in the next.  Amen.
